How the Elk Rapids Community Bazaar got started.

The “Newcomers Club” started this unique tradition in 1973. Each year one of  the many non-profit local groups takes on the organization of the bazaar and lunch, to raise funds for their group.The event is held on the first Saturday in November .

Each year information and sponsorship is passed to the next group to continue the rotation among Elk Rapids Groups.
